Kreşendo is organizing a series of events throughout March to celebrate International Women’s Day. Prominent female musicians from the contemporary music scene will share the stage with Kresendo Music.
Formerly known as Beats by Girlz Turkey, which has been developing projects since 2021 to provide more opportunities for women and disadvantaged groups in the music scene, continues its work under the name Kreşendo, expanding its scope as of February 2024.
It helps strengthen everyone in the music industry, from performers to organizers, audiences, and the media, to build a more diverse music scene and make culture more democratic. Kreşendo continues its activities as the Türkiye chapter of the New York based music initiative We Make Noise.
Kreşendo Music, with its all-female band, will meet its audience with a repertoire of songs by female singers. Throughout March, concerts and discussions will be held at various venues in Istanbul, including the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Sancaktepe Eyüpsultan Cultural Center, Büyükada Taş Mektep, and Pera Museum.
